Blanqueamiento Dental

El blanqueamiento dental es un tratamiento en el que se consigue aclarar varios tonos el color original de las piezas dentales.

Existen varios tipos:

  • En Clínica

El profesional aplica el gel blanqueador activándolo con luz. Previamente se aislan encía y labios. El procedimiento es muy sencillo, no requiere anestesia y la duración aproximada es de 30 minutos. Esta técnica permite ver los resultados en una sesión, que podría repetirse en caso de ser necesario.

Suele estar indicada para casos de tinciones más graves (p.ej. tetraciclinas).

  • En Casa

El paciente distribuye el agente blanqueador en unas férulas hechas a su medida (superior e inferior). Nosotros le asesoraremos respecto a cantidad y tiempo de aplicación. Normalmente la duración es de 1 mes.

Elegiremos este tipo cuando las tinciones son leves.

  • Blanqueamiento Interno

Los dientes endodonciados o no vitales se oscurecen a lo largo de los años debido a la falta de vascularización e inervación.

En lugar de poner una corona o funda, en ocasiones, es preferible un blanqueamiento interno evitando así el tallado de estructura dentaria.

Consiste en introducir el producto blanqueador en el interior del diente, sellarlo y revaluar a la semana. Si procediese se repetiría. Es un proceso no invasivo y no requiere anestesia.
